Pop it !

My first project was about a luxury product, which will be able to be on the shelves at Selfridges London. Me and my group first went in to Selfridges to do some research according to our brief, and collected some information. Then I came up with a quick and a simple idea; why not place a clock on the cork?
The idea would basically work like this; we would place a clock on the cork of a champagne bottle, it would work as a normal clock( showing the date, time, minute and second) and as soon as you pop it the clock would stop. AND! since champagne is a symbol for luxury celebrations, you would have that cork as a memory of that special occasion( your wedding, birthday or something).
Would you buy it? Huh?
